Abstract

In the light of the high percentage of plagiarism in the scientific research community, and the harm done to the quality of scientific work and the attack on intellectual property, it became necessary to find tools to confront this phenomenon and reduce its aggravation. This immoral behavior has attracted the attention of the guardians of higher education and scientific research in Algeria. Which issued ministerial decisions in order to reach clear the ambiguity about the nature of this phenomenon, and identify specific methods and mechanisms to confront it ;This is done through the use of software and networked applications specialized in combating plagiarism and detecting. it, in order to keep pace with the development of this phenomenon and reduce its consequences , this is what we are trying to clarify through this study so that everyone related to the field of scientific research will understand what scientific research is, and with the same importance, ways to confront it.
