Abstract

تتناول هذه الدراسة بحثا عن الامبراطور ليج إياسو ودوره في أثيوبيا 1899/1934م، والذي تزامن حكمه مع السنوات الأولى للحرب العالمية الأولى 1914/1918. تضمن البحث تعريفا بشخصية أليج ونشأته وكيفية توليه للعرش الأثيوبي، وابرز أعماله وسياساته الداخلية والخارجية ومدى تأثير هذه السياسات في تهديد استمرارية حكمه وانعكاساتها. This study deals with a research on Emperor Lij Iyasu-Joshua and his role in Ethiopia 1899/1934, whose rule coincided with the early years of the First World War 1914/1918. The research included an introduction to the personality of Lij, his upbringing and the way he assumed the Ethiopian throne, and the most prominent of his domestic and foreign works and policies, and the extent of the impact of these policies on threatening the continuity of his rule and its repercussions.
