Abstract

: International societies in general and Arab societies in particular face many challenges as a result of the development of technology, the multiplicity of modern communication techniques and the multiplicity of social media platforms, which made the world a small village by abolishing geographical and spatial borders, to change the balance of power with regard to the standards and values on which the social and family fabric of Arab societies was built. In conjunction with the transition of societies to digital societies, the so-called electronic crime that affects individuals, families and institutions and harms them, whether materially or morally , and exposes them to fraud, which prompts specialists to sound the alarm to search for ways to reduce the phenomenon of electronic crime that has affected and threatens the social fabric. The interest in the issue of the repercussions of cybercrime in Algerian society falls within the scope of revealing the repercussions of cybercrime at the individual and societal level, and trying to come up with recommendations that would reduce the level of the spread and exacerbation of the phenomenon of cybercrime in Algerian society and the search for ways to combat it and limit its repercussions at the individual level.
