Abstract

The object of this research work is to try to apply the method of data envelopment analysis for the measurement of the skills of (qualifications or performance) of the following journalistic companies (media): El Khabar, Echourouk and El Watan being Algerian media companies. Three data (inputs) were introduced: the capital of the companies, the number of journalists working in the company and the annual payroll granted by these companies and a result (output) achieved during the years: 2007, 2008 and 2009. Using the constant return to scale (CRS) model, the results showed that the Echourouk institution is the only company that achieved total performance compared to other institutions
