أثر الصادرات الزراعية على النمو الاقتصادي في الجزائر خلال الفترة 2000-2019

Abstract

This study aimed to analyzing the impact of agricultural exports on economic growth (real GDP) of Algeria during 2000-2019. In this study, the integration method is used according to the limits approach, which is known as the Autoregressive Distributed lag (ARDL) model. Annual data are adopted in the econometric analysis. It is collected from official sources, and the results show that there is no effect of agricultural exports on the real GDP, which reflects the weak contribution of agricultural exports (the weakness of agricultural production in the formation of gross domestic product and economic growth), while the population is associated with a statistically significant direct relationship with GDP in the long term, and the error correction coefficient is negative and significant, where the speed of adjustment to the equilibrium position reaches 0.6894 (ie a year and five months).
