Design and development of a medical application based on Blockchain technology

Abstract

One of the most critical elements of information systems is the storage method, especially if you need to share and collect data from other individuals and entities, since you need to trust their information. Central databases are typically used as a general answer to this issue, but in order to implement this solution, all partners must have trust in the organization that maintains the database as the central authority to manage the data. In the case of storing medical health records, the centralisation of the information poses a risk of patient’s data manipulation. Blockchain is a technology that has been around for several years, this technology allows you to share information, when you need to trust data and participants without using a central database.
