Abstract
يهدف البحث الحالي إلى وصف الخبرات المشتركة التي عايشها الأبناء البالغون لآباء مدمنين على الكحول وتحليل تلك الخبرات للاستفادة منها في فهم مفاهيمها ومكوناتها الاساسية. وباعتماد المنهج الكيفي الفينومينولوجي، تم إجراء مقابلة نصف منظمة على عينة من البالغين (18 سنة الى 32 سنة) بلغ عدد أفرادها خمسة (3 إناث، و2 ذكور) تم اختيارهم قصديا. وقد اتضح أن الخبرة المعيشة لهؤلاء الأفراد كانت ذات شقين. تضمن الشق الأول، وهو الخبرات ذات الطابع السلبي، وتشمل القلق (Anxiety)، والخوف (Fear)، والوصمة (Stigma)، وفقدان القدوة، وتضارب الأدوار، وتذبذب التحصيل الدراسي. وتضمن الشق الثاني الخبرات ذات الطابع الإيجابي، وتشمل الدعاء، والإعتزاز بالأم. وقد تمت التوصية بضرورة أخذ هذه الخبرات بعين الإعتبار عند اية مساعدة تقدم لمثل هؤلاء الأفراد. The current research aims to describe the lived experiences shared by adult children of alcoholics
and to analyze these experiences in order to benefit them in understanding their concepts and basic
components. Researchers used a qualitative phenomenological approach, with a semi-structured
interview on a sample of adult children (18 to 32 years of age) of five (3 females and 2 males) who
were selected intentionally. It was found that the lived experience of these individuals was twofold.
The first part includes experiences of a negative nature which comprises anxiety, fear, stigma, loss of
role models, role conflicts, and fluctuation in scholastic achievement. The second part includes
experiences of a positive nature, including supplication and pride of mother.
It was recommended that such experiences should be taken into account in any assistance to such
individuals.
