Abstract

This research aims to identify what the information system is, what the logistics activities are, and what the role of the information system is in supporting the logistics activities, by presenting the ERP model. This study concluded that ERP contributes to the effective functioning of various logistics activities, contributing to the customer relationship management system by recording all communications and transactions with different clients, ERP also contributes to the inventory management system by digitally regulating inventories and avoiding interruptions that may occur as a result of stock depletion. These processes are done in a digital, electronic and real-time format, ensuring the timely availability of information to various departments and services, which play an important role in effective decision-making.
