Abstract
The fall of Granada in 1492 was the last stronghold of Muslims
in Andalusia, a decisive turning point in the history of
Mediterranean relations and issues. It is a renewal of the
Christian-Islamic conflict between the Spanish Kingdom and
the Ottoman Empire, Since then the Spaniards have sought to
rid the Muslims of all forms of intimidation , And with the
beginning of the sixteenth century AD turned balances and
emerged actors active and changed the course of history in the
Western Basin of the Mediterranean, Algeria, which emerged as
the Lady of the Mediterranean since its accession to the
Ottoman Empire and thanks to the Navy and its rulers and Such
as Al-Rays Khairuddin, Alij Ali and others. The Algerian
undertook the task of rescuing their Muslim brothers, the
persecuted Andalusians fleeing the Spanish Inquisition and the
oppression and injustice of the Spanish rulers. This is because of
the religious link they collect on the one hand and by virtue of
the neighborhood and The proximity to the other side and also
bearing the emblem of Islamic solidarity in the western basin of
the Mediterranean, where they quickly responded to the appeal
and did not spare the Muslims to help them, either with life or
equipment and equipped the emergency situation all the
necessary equipment and ships available at the time to bring them to Algeria safely , And did not waver for a day even of
Algeria lives in the worst conditions.
