"Abstract The modeling of structures of the shell (or plate) type is generally done by conventional plate-shell elements, however in recent years many research works have been carried out in the field of finite elements without degree of freedom in rotation. In this study we will present a triangular finite element without degree of freedom in rotation intended for the analysis of the shell type structures, the numerical implementation will be carried out on the Matlab software, the numerical applications in the field of calculation of the structures will be necessary to test the reliability and performance of this element.
