Abstract
The appearance of social networks has revolutionized
the way of interaction and exchange of information on the
internet, and has led to an explosion of data on these networks.
The availability of this data via a set of APIs triggered a wave of
initiatives and work aiming to make use of this massive amount
of information in order to extract knowledge that will facilitate
the decision-making process. In fact, due to growing business
competition, leaders from different sectors have already started
using reporting tools, making it possible to provide reliable and
relevant analyses at the right time. In this paper we present
an approach for improving an existing decision-making system
by combining its core datawarehouse with a social one. This
social datawarehouse built using extracted tweets will expand
the analyzes possibilities of the existing system, and will allow
carrying out various analyses, facilitating the decision-making
process, and this for any sector.
