Abstract
الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو إبراز أهمية الجزائر في نظر الفرنسيين خاصة بعد احتلالها سنة 1830، فالحملة الفرنسية فتحت الأبواب على مصراعيه لكل الفرنسيين خاصة بعد تطور الحركة الرومانسية في فرنسا، فأصبحت الجزائر منطلق نشاط الاستشراق الفرنسي مبكرا، وتزامنا مع الحملة العسكرية والسياسية اندفعت قوافل من المستشرقين والفنانين والأدباء مكتشفين أسرار الجزائر وكنوزها منبهرين بجمال طبيعتها وصحاريها، ومن الفنانين الفرنسيين الذين تأثروا وأثروا الفن الفرنسي نجد دى لاكروا، هوراس فيرنيه، فريديريك شاصيريو، ألبير لوبورغ، ويوجين فرومنتان، مستغلين كل ماله صلة بالمعالم الآثرية الإسلامية من قصور ومباني ومتاحف. ولمعرفة مدى اهتمام الفنانين والمستشرقين الفرنسيين بالجزائر، ارتأينا إتباع المنهج الوصفي التحليلي معتمدين في ذلك على المادة التاريخية المتاحة لدينا. وفي الأخير خلُصنا أن فرنسا في استعمارها للجزائر راهنت على مستشرقيها وفنانيها بقدر ما راهنت على جيوشها، يرافقون حملاتها مقدمين لها الخدمات والخبرات والمعلومات الضرورية. The objective of this study is to
highlight the importance of Algeria in
the view of the french , especially after
its colonisation in 1830.The doors were
widely opened for all the french
campaign , especially after the
development of the romantic movement
in France. Algeria early became an
activity site for French orientalism and
coinciding with the military as well as
political campaign, convoys of
orientalists, artists and writers dashed to
discover Algeria’s secrets and treasures,
hence they were amazed by the beauty of
its nature and its deserts, and among the
French artists who had been influenced
with such beauty and enrivhed the
French art, we find : de la Croix, Horace
Vernet, Frederic Chacerio, Albert Le
Bourget, and Eugene Fromentin, taking
advantage of everything related to
Islamic moniments from palaces,
buildingd and museums.
And so as to know the extent of French artists and orientalists ’interest in
Algeria, we decided to implement the
descriptive analytical method of
research, relying on the historical
material available to us. Eventually, we
concluded that France, during its
colonization of Algeria, bet on its
orientalists and artists as much it bet on
its armies, accompanying its campaigns,
providing it with all the necessary
services, expertise and information.
