نظرة في تاريخ شعب البلغار المسلم

Abstract

لقد مر على منطقة أوراسيا كثير من الحضارات التي تركت أثرًا فيها، ومن أبرزها الحضارة التي أسسها البلغار الذين دخلوا الإسلام منذ القرن الرابع الهجري تقريبًا، وكانوا من أول الشعوب الإسلامية التي ساعدت في نشر حضارة ذلك الدين من جنوب أوراسيا حتى شمالها، وهذه المقالة تتحدث عن أصول هذا الشعب، والفرق بينهم وبين الناس الذين يعيشون في دولة بلغاريا، وتاريخ هذا الشعب المسلم واعتناقه الإسلام، حتى انهيار دولة البلغار، والقوميات التي ترجع أصولها إلى البلغار في يومنا الحاضر. Abstract : Of the many civilizations that have passed through and left their mark on Eurasia, the Bulgars are one of the most prominent. The Bulgars embraced Islam approximately in the 4th century A.H. and were one of the first peoples to aid in spreading the civilization of Islam from the south all the way to the north of Eurasia. This article discusses their origins, the differences between them and the people currently living in modern day Bulgaria, their introduction to Islam and their history within it up until the collapse of the Bulgar state as well as the modern day ethnic groups that trace their origins back to the Bulgars.
