dc.description.abstractDue to geo-reasons like the low generation cost and clean energy resources, renewable energy sources have attracted more interest than the conventional underground fuels for the generation of electrical power. Furthermore, consumers who are geographically located in remote, inhospitable areas can effectively use renewable energy resources, particularly photovoltaic generation systems, as a self-sufficient power supply. The conversion system and its control method play a major role in the performance of the autonomous power supply. In order to control the load current of the Z-source four-leg inverter used for electrical system, this thesis uses a modern and alternative control system based on the finite control set model predictive control strategy.en_US
