شركات التكنولوجيا المالية الناشئة في ظل جائحة كوفيد-19: الفرص والتحديات

Abstract

هدفت هذه الدراسة ضمن إطار وصفي تحليلي إلى إجراء تقييم لتأثير جائحة كوفيد-19 على شركات التكنولوجيا المالية الناشئة، وذلك بالإسقاط على المنطقة الأوروبية، وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى أن خدمات شركات التكنولوجيا المالية الناشئة في أوروبا حصلت على دفعة هائلة، حيث لعبت دورا دفاعيا مهما ضد جائحة كوفيد-19 وشملت مزاياها تجنب استخدام الأموال النقدية التي يحتمل أن تكون ملوثة بالفيروس أو الحاجة إلى الذهاب شخصيا إلى المؤسسات المالية التقليدية للحصول على الخدمات المالية، كما أنه وبالرغم من انخفاض نشاط هاته الشركات خلال فترة الجائحة إلا أنها سجلت مستويات مضاعفة لتلك المستويات المسجلة قبل جائحة كوفيد-19 في مختلف المراكز الأوروبية. This study aimed, within a descriptive and analytical framework, to assess the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on Fintech startups, by projecting it onto the European region. The study concluded that the services of Fintech startups in Europe got a huge boost, as they played an important defensive role against the Covid-19 pandemic, and their advantages included avoiding the use of cash potentially contaminated with the virus or the need to go personally to traditional financial institutions to obtain financial services. Also, despite the decrease in the activity of these companies during the pandemic period, they recorded levels double to those recorded before the Covid-19 pandemic in various European centers.
