Abstract

هدفت الدراسة الى تبيان مدى تأثر شركات التأمين بوباء فيروس كورونا الدي قادها إلى تذبذبات حادة في أسواقها و للإجابة عن الإشكالية المطروحة "كيف أثرت جائحة كورونا على الوضعية المالية لشركات التأمين تم تحليل لأهم الجداول الخاصة بشركة التأمين حيث تبين أن خسائر القطاع تضاعفت خلال سنة 2020 ما ينذر بمستقبل قاتم لقطاع التأمين وتبين أن معظم الزبائن جمدوا عقود التأمين بينما لجؤوا إلى تقليصها من التأمين الشامل إلى تأمين جزئي، خاصة بالنسبة لأصحاب الشركات والمؤسسات الصغيرة والمتوسطة وأصحاب المركبات وذلك في أعقاب الخسائر والصعوبات المالية المترتبة على جائحة فيروس كورونا.كما اتضح أن عدم تسديد المتعاملين والزبائن لأقساط التأمين أضر بالكثير من شركات التأمين ، فضلا عن تأثرها بوقف السفر وغلق الحدود، وتجميد التأشيرات وتجمد القروض البنكية التي كان التأمين عليها. The present paper seeks to demonstrate the impact of the Coronavirus pandemic on insurance companies which led to significant flutctuations in their market shares. In order to explore how the pandemic affected the financial position of insurance companies, we carried out an analysis of the most important tables of an insurance company. The findings revealed that the sector has undergone significant losses during 2020 which predicts a bleak future for the insurance sector. It further showed that most customers have frozen their insurance contracts by shifting from comprehensive insurance to partial insurance, especially for the owners of companies, small and medium-sized enterprises and industrial complexes in the aftermath of the huge losses and financial difficulties causes by the pandemic. It turns out that insurance companies were not only hurt by the unsolvency of clients and customers but also travel bans, border closures, visa freeze, and the freezing of bank loans for which they were insured.
