Abstract

يعتبر القصر القديم بمتليلي الشعانبة نموذجا لا يزال يحافظ على وظائفه العمرانية التي قام لأجلها سواء كانت اجتماعية كالسكن والتخزين، أو أمنية كالحماية والتحصين، وبهذه الخصائص يعطينا تلك الصورة للتنظيم الاجتماعي والسياسي والاقتصادي لساكنيه، وبالتالي فهو يعبر على الحياة البسيطة لقاطنيه والتي تتسم بالانسجام والتكتل والتراص وروح الجماعة الذي يتماشى وطبيعة البيئة الصحراوية، كما أنه يمزج بين متطلبات السكان وعاداتهم في الحياة، متماشية مع الشرع الإسلامي.The Ancient Palace of MetliliChaanba is regarded as a model that still maintains the architectural functions for which it was established. The functions can be social such as dwelling andstorage, or for security reasons for protection and fortification. These characteristics exhibit the image of the social, political and economic organization of its inhabitants. Hence, it manifests their simple life that is marked by the harmony, agglomeration and community spirit that are consistent with the character of desert environment. It also blends the requirements of the population and their traditions in accordance with Islamic law.
