Abstract

The study aims to explore the various transformations in banking industry, due to financial technology and artificial intelligence, in addition to addressing the development of electronic banking in Algeria and its various services, and identifying the various factors that help to adopt financial technology solutions; The study concluded that the banking business has undergone many transformations, so digital banks of all kinds, and smart branches, as well as the use of artificial intelligence in conducting the daily business of the bank and identifying customers, appeared, in light of the wide spread of payments through the mobile phone. These developments have also resulted in increased risks. As for the Algerian banking sector, the services provided by Algerian banksare varied on their websites, phone applications, ATMs and pos terminals, and the infrastructure necessary to adopt financial technology solutions has improved.
