Abstract

The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part is theoretical and addresses concepts related to ointments, followed by a preliminary study of the biological and phytochemical characterization of the aerial part of the plant, as well as its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity. In the practical part, attention was focused on extracting the active compounds using appropriate extraction methods with four solvents of varying polarity in order to determine the most effective one in terms of quantity and quality of extraction. Subsequently, the optimal extract was incorporated into the preparation of a topical ointment, which then underwent preliminary tests to evaluate its physical properties and biological effectiveness. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that Limoniastrum guyonianum has significant medical potential, and economic benefits can be achieved if the plant is utilized properly. ومؽ خلاؿ ىحه الشتائج السحرل عمييا يسكؽ القؾؿ اف نبات Limoniastrum guyonianum لو.
