Abstract
This study deals with the role of
ISO14001 in preserving natural resources
and their contribution to achieving
sustainable development. It also aims to
clarify the importance and role of ISO
14001 as an integrated system with
mandatory tasks to preserve natural
resources, expand the use of clean and
renewable energy sources without overuse
and rationalize consumption.
The study concluded that the
success of implementing ISO14001 as a
mechanism that involves proper
environmental planning in management,
and it is in line with the sustainable
development plan contributes to
preserving natural resources and works to
rationalize their consumption, and protect
the environment from industrial pollution
and preserve human beings
