dc.description.abstractThe subject of the dissertation is: "The Provisions of Long-Acting Reversible Contraception Devices (LARC) in Islamic Jurisprudence". It has been studied in two sections; the first is dedicated to studying what LARCs are, and indicating its importance in birth control, and the effects of its use on the woman’s body, It also addresses the provisions using LARCs in light of the legitimate purposes, and it clarifies the jurisprudential rules governing that use. The second section is devoted to the ruling on LARC’s use for birth control and their jurisprudence effects starting with the birth control in general, and ending with the rule of using implants and spirals for birth control and their jurisprudence effects. Among the most important findings of this dissertation is the sanctity of using LARCS for being an abortion. It is permissible within the limits of the necessary or significant need that calls for the woman to use it, taking into account Sharia regulations, The study also proposes to renew the jurisprudence research in these devices continuously in line with the related medical developments.
