القديس أوغسطين وصراعه مع الدوناتيين

Abstract

ساهم القديس"أوغسطين" في عقد المجامع الكاثوليكية التي كان يفرض فيها إرادته وتوجيهاته، ولا يتوانى في تقديم الشكاوى ضد الدوناتيين ممهدا بذلك الطريق لتدخل السلطة الزمنية في الخلافات الدائرة ما بين المسيحيين، إضافة لذلك محاولة إغراء من يتوسّم فيهم النزوع والشقاق من الدوناتيين كمحاولة لضرب الحركة من الداخل وبالتالي تفتيته واستطاعت الكنيسة الكاثوليكية أن تنجح في امتصاص قوّة الدوناتيين، وتفتيتهم .. ويعترف "أوغسطين" بالعنف الممارس ضد خصومه وأنه طلب من السلطات الزمنية القضاء على البدعة الدوناتية لأن ذلك في صالح الجميع :-" قد يغيظكم أن ننزع من فيالقكم أسلحتها الحقيقية، إن لم يكن ذلك طبقا للقوانين فبالخطاب على الأقل." ولعل ذلك ما شجع السلطات الزمنية على إصدار تلك الترسانة من القوانين والقرارات الداعمة للطرف الكاثوليكي، خصوصا بعدما وقف الدوناتيون إلى صف أي تمرد أو ثورة أو عصيان ضد السلطة التي وجدت في الكاثوليك حليفا لها. ولنا أن نطرح إشكالية نظرة هذه الشخصية في الصراع الذي ظهر قبل الامتداد الكاثوليكي في شمال افريقيا ما بين السلطة الزمنية والدوناتتين؟.وكيف ساهمت في هذا الصراع؟.
