دور وسطية الإسلام في التعامل مع أهل الذمّة في بناء الحضارة الإسلامية-الأطباء من أهل الذمّة في الغرب الإسلامي ومصر نموذجا

Abstract

تميّز الإسلام بالوسطية فقد جاء بالعدل والمساواة والحرية والتسامح والتعاون. ويأتي هذا البحث ليبين أثر وسطية الإسلام في التعامل مع أهل الذمّة –من النصارى واليهود والصابئة وغيرهم-في بناء حضارة المسلمين، ويوضح الدور الذي قام به الأطباء الذميّون في الغرب الإسلامي ومصر في تطوير علوم الطب. وتوصلنا إلى أنّ وسطية الإسلام حفّزت أهل الذمّة للإبداع وتطوير العلوم الطبيّة، فأسهموا في بناء حضارة إسلامية إنسانية. Islam was distinguished by moderation, as it brought justice, equality, freedom, tolerance, and cooperation. This research shows the effect of the moderation (alwasatiat) of Islam in dealing with non-muslims people (Ahl –edhimma) – as Christians, Jews, Sabeans, and others – in building the civilization of Muslims, and explains the role played by dhimmi doctors in the Islamic West and Egypt in the development of medical sciences. We concluded that the moderation of Islam motivated the people of devotion to innovate and develop medical sciences, so they contributed to building an Islamic human civilization
