Abstract

احتل الخليج العربي مكانة مهمة في التعامل التجاري مع بلاد الرافدين منذ القدم حيث اشارت الكتابات المسمارية الى وجود ثلاثة مراكز رئيسية يمكن الوصول اليها عبر الخليج العربي وهي دلمون ومجان وميلوخا ،وقد جلب حكام بلاد الرافدين مواد مختلفة منها كالمعادن والعقيق الاحمر وحجر اللازورد واصداف المحار والاخشاب وقد وقع الاختيار على دراسة الاخشاب انموذجا نظرا لاهمية مادة الاخشاب واستخداماتها المتعددة في الحياة اليومية ، كماتطرقنا في البحث الى دراسة اهم انواع الاخشاب التي جلبت من الخليج العربي انذاك The Arabian Gulf occupies an important position in dealing with Mesopotamia since ancient times.
