Abstract

This article aims to give general concepts about both creativity and innovation in the tourism field and highlight their importance in promoting tourism activity and enhancing its participation in achieving economic development, trying to find out the extent of the impact of both innovation and creativity in the tourism field as independent variables on enhancing tourism activity as a dependent variable. A research framework was created to ascertain the nature of the relationship and the impact between the variables in order to achieve the research objectives. Simple and multiple linear regression equations were applied to the answers of the selected sample, which is employees and workers of a hotel group in the state of Oued Suof (8 hotels). This research reached a set of theoretical and applied conclusions, the most important of which is the existence of a strong relationship of influence for both creativity and innovation on enhancing tourism activity.
