    عرفت المدينة القيصرية في النصف الثاني من القرن الثاني الميلادي اوج ازدهاره اين عرفت منشات عدة تضاهي تلك التي في روما ، وكانت الحمامات الغربية للقيصرية من بين اهم واكبر الحمامات في شمال افريقيا حيث جسدت فيه نظرية التناظر التي تسهل عملية التنقل بين وحدات الحمام التى تعد بمثابة مركب يجد فيه الزائر كل وسائل الرفاهية. والمعلم قائم الى يومنا هذا رغم ان الباحث فيليب لوفوا حاول ان يدرسه اين تمكن بوضع مخطط عام له ، لكن هناك عناصر كثير لا تزال غامضة ( كنظام التسخين وشبكة المياه). و من خلال هذا الموضوع سنحاول عرض المراحل التاريخية لهذا النوع من النماذج المعمارية في الجزائر .
