The aim of our study is to exploit and value an important
natural resource to remove organic pollutants from water, which
is palm waste (Arjun), as Algeria is considered among the
countries rich in this natural resource. Among the possible
technologies for water treatment, the adsorption process by solid
adsorbents appears, which is a possibility as one of The most
effective method for treating and removing organic pollutants It
has advantages over other methods because of its simple design
and can involve a low initial cost investment The adsorption
process is widely used to treat water from organic and inorganic
pollutants and has received great attention from researchers In
recent years, research has been intensified Low-cost adsorbents
with binding capabilities to remove water pollution, the results of
adsorption experiments on methylene blue dye showed that the
latter is very effective in removing organic pollutants.
