لقد عملت الأنظمة الداخلية للدول العربية في الجزائر وتونس ومصر على النص على سلطة التأديب لأعضاء البرلمان لتقويم اعوجاج سلوكهم في قاعة الجلسات وحملهم على تطبيق القواعد القانونية تحقيقا للمصلحة العامة وحفاظا على هيبة وكرامة المجلس من ناحية وإشاعة روح الانضباط من ناحية أخرى، لأن ترك جلسات البرلمان دون ضوابط قانونية ستترتب عليه عواقب وخيمة على العمل البرلماني ككل وانتشار الفوضى وانعدام روح المسؤولية. The internal systems of the Arab countries have stipulated the power to discipline members of Parliament to correct their behavior in the Plenary Hall, and forcing them to apply the legal rules for the public interest and to preserve the prestige and dignity of the Council on the one hand, and promote the spirit of discipline on the other hand, because leaving the parliament sessions without legal controls lead to serious consequences on the parliamentary work
