Where the only constant is change, which requires to adopt new mindset to be able to deal with these challenges. Knowledge Management is considered as one of the modern systems that ensure a sustainable competitive advantage. In order to achieve the effectiveness of KM, the organization should provide some mechanisms of success. One of the most important success factors is "a supportive leadership". Thus, this study aimed at discovering the role of leadership in the success of the application of knowledge. A questionnaire is set in the Algerian post institutions applied study to highlight the situation of leadership and knowledge management .It reveals the role of leadership to the sake of the success of the application of knowledge management. We used SPSS Program to analysis the data which was collected In addition to other statistical descriptive methods as regression analysis, Test F is used by contrast ANOVA analysis table, the coefficient of correlation Pearson to determine the degree of correlation between variables of the study.
