تُبين هذه الدراسة طبيعة الصراع العربي الصهيوني التي كانت أهم دوافعه رفض السيطرة على الأراضي العربية، وفي مقدمتها فلسطين. أمام النزعة الصهيونية للتوسع، شهد الصراع العربي الصهيوني عدة حروب، لعل أبرزها حربي 1948 و1967. هذه الأخيرة التي سيطر فيها الكيان الصهيوني على المزيد من الأراضي محققا مكاسبا استراتيجية. وفقا لعقيدة التوسع المشار إليها سابقا. مما دفع الدول العربية للانتفاض على هذا الواقع، فكانت حرب أكتوبر 1973 بمثابة الحل. وهي محور دراستنا، حيث سنتناول ظروف ومجريات الحرب، وإفرازاتها على كل الأصعدة معتمدين على مساهمة الإعلام وخاصة الجرائد المكتوبة، وكيف صورت وغطت الحرب آنذاك . This study reveals the nature of the Arab- Zionist conflict and its main driving force, which was the refusal to relinquish control over Arab lands, primarily Palestine. Faced with the Zionist expansionist tendencies, the Arab- Zionist conflict witnessed several wars, with the most prominent being the wars of 1948 and 1967. The latter allowed the Zionist entity to seize more territories and achieve strategic gains, as mentioned earlier. This led the Arab nations to rise against this reality, and the October 1973 war served as a solution. It forms the focus of our study, where we will examine the circumstances and course of the war, along with its implications on all levels, relying on the contribution of media, especially written newspapers, and how they portrayed and covered the war back then
