Item Sliding mode control of a doubly fed induction generator for wind energy conversion systems(University of Eloued, 2019-02-24) M. Allam; Y. Djeriri; H. Mesai Ahmed; I. DehibaThis work presents a sliding mode control for wind energy conversion system based on a Doubly Fed Induction Generator (DFIG). The power transfer between the stator and the network is achieved by acting on the rotor signals via a bidirectional converter. Our objective is to apply this control to command independently the active and the reactive power generated by the DFIG. Simulation results on a 10 kW DFIG system are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed control strategy during variations of active and reactive power and machine parameters, based on software MATLAB / SIMULINK.
