Item Analysis Of Indexed-guided Highly Birefringent Photonic Crystal Fiber Employing Different Cladding Geometries(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2012-01-01) Jouri, A. M.; Simohamed, L. M.; Boudrioua, A.; Ziane, O.; Hassani, B.; Dadi, A.In this paper, a comparative study of three geometries of highly birefringent photonic crystal fibers (HB PCF) is presented. The proposed geometries are: V type PCF, Pseudo-Panda PCF and selectively liquid-filled PCF. Based on the famous Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method with the perfectly matched layer (PML) boundary condition, the simulations are carried out in the aim to find a tradeoff between the chromatic dispersion, the birefringence and the confinement loss.Item Gap In A Laser Frequency He-ne At 632.8 Nm(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2012-01-01) Aissani, A.; Alliche, M.; Chaalal, M.; Ziane, O.The aim of this work is to show that the emitted signals of a double-output laser cavity exhibit distinctive features, manifesting themselves through typical dissymmetry in the corresponding spectral line shapes. Usually, such a dissymmetry in an inhomogeneously broadened gas laser appears with a clear but unpredictable shift of the maximum intensity level either towards the high or towards the low frequency sides with respect to line centre. In the case of a double-output laser, the spectral profiles show opposite shifts. This means that when the maximum intensity of one output moves towards the high frequency side of the profile, the maximum intensity of the other moves towards the low frequency side. This gives rise to a frequency shift, with respect to the Lamb-dip for a classical laser On the theoretical side, we apply the standard disturbed Gaussian beam model to give a good quantification of the frequency shifts obtained at both sides of the system.Item SPECTROSCOPIC PROPERTIES AND JUDD-OFELT INTENSITY PARAMETERS OF Er3+ DOPED OXYCHLOROPHOSPHATE GLASSES FOR LASER APPLICATIONS(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2018-02-05) Amrouch, S.; Chalal, M.; Kermaoui, A.; Oulebsir, A.; Zaiba, S.; Zanane, H.; Djouama, T.; Abdedou, N.; Ziane, O.; Lamrous, O.A new series of Er3+ doped oxychlorophosphate glasses (NKAZCl) with the chemical composition based on (100-x) (NaPO3-KH2PO4–Al2O3-ZnCl2), with different xEr3+molar ratio (0.5≤x≤2), were prepared by conventional melting quenching method. The spectroscopic properties of proposed glasses are investigated by applied Judd-Ofelt theories to calculate the oscillator strengths Scal, the intensity parametes (2Ω ,4Ω ,6 Ω) .The absorption and emission cross section(σabs , (λ) σem (λ) respectively, and also the optical gain cross section parameter, at 1.53μm of 4 І13/2 4 І 15/ 2 transition of Er3+ ion are calculated by using Beer-Lambert law and the McCumber theory
