Item La revitalisation des sols appauvris : contribution à l'étude de de cas de réhabilitation de terres agricoles abandonnées dans la région d'El Oued(جامعة الوادي university of eloued, 2024) BELALOUI DJIHANE; REZAG SALEM ABIRThis document presents an experimental study aimed at revitalizing the depleted and saline soils in the El Oued region of Algeria, through the use of various innovative treatments. The objective is to propose effective methods to restore the fertility of these soils and rehabilitate abandoned agricultural lands in this arid area. The experiment consisted of cultivating triticale grains in plastic pots and applying various treatments: chemical compounds (such as sodium benzoate, EDTA, organic acids), natural amendments (such as gum arabic, activated carbon, polymers), as well as special formulations (such as magnetized water). Different parameters were measured to evaluate the effectiveness of these treatments, including morphological parameters (tillering, leaf growth), yield components (number of grains per plant, 1000-grain weight), as well as physicochemical properties of the soil (moisture, conductivity, pH, temperature). The results showed that several treatments significantly improved soil moisture retention, reduced salinity, and had a positive impact on plant growth and development in this arid environment. Treatments using compounds such as salicylic acid, sodium benzoate, and polyethylene glycol proved particularly promising. This study can thus be considered as an innovative and viable solution for revitalizing depleted soils in these arid regions, reflecting the sustainable development goal for these areas.
