Caring For The Elderly Psychologically In The Islamic Religion

Aging occupied a high place in the list of concerns of countries, but the Islamic countries did not pay much attention to this category, and did not propose sufficient solutions that would solve their issues and concerns. Perhaps not paying attention to their case is what they find in Islamic legislation that it is necessary to take care of them, as well as customs and traditions. We also note that the elderly in the Islamic world are increasing indefinitely, so the current study attempts to answer a question centered on the elderly in terms of the reality of their existence and their societal status in Islam -an anthropological study احتلت الشيخوخة مكانة عالية في قائمة اهتمامات الدول ، لكن الدول الإسلامية لم تهتم كثيراً بهذه الفئة خاصة من الجانب النفسي، ولم تقترح حلولاً كافية من شأنها أن تحل قضاياها واهتماماتها. ولعل عدم الالتفات إلى قضيتهم هو ما يجدون في التشريع الإسلامي أنه من الضروري العناية بهم ماليا ونفسيا وسائر الجوانب، وكذلك العادات والتقاليد. كما نلاحظ أن كبار السن في العالم الإسلامي يتزايدون إلى أجل غير مسمى ، لذا فإن الدراسة الحالية تحاول الإجابة على سؤال يتمحور حول كبار السن من حيث واقع وجودهم ومكانتهم المجتمعية وصحتهم النفسية في الإسلام
