    Résumé: L’objectif de cette étude consiste à démontrer l’importance du capital intellectuel dans la nouvelle économie, et plus particulièrement son influence sur la performance des entreprises à travers le rôle médiateur de l'innovation. L'étude a relevé la nécessaire d’une consolidation des efforts publics en Algérie pour soutenir une politique systémique de promotion et de développement technologique dans le cadre d’un système national d’innovation, afin de qualifier les capacités innovatrices des entreprises algériennes et d'améliorer leur performance. Abstract: The objective of this study is to demonstrate the importance of intellectual capital in the new economy, and more particularly its influence on the performance of companies through the mediating role of innovation. The study noted the need for a consolidation of public efforts in Algeria to support a systemic policy of promotion and technological development within the framework of a national innovation system, in order to qualify the innovative capacities of Algerian companies and '' improve their performance.
