    The Algorithm Applications In The Sharing Economy: Building A Regression Model Of Airbnb Prices Using Python

    The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between algorithmic applications and the sharing economy. To explore this relationship we applied a linear regression algorithm using Python for ppredicting Airbnb listing price. The results of the study show that the prices of Airbnb apartments in Paris are heavily dependent on available equipment and location. Indeed, most of the variables that have led to price increases are related to equipment and location. We can apply other algorithms, such as “random forest”, decision tree, etc. To see if these characteristics (amenities/location) are the main factors for predicting the prices of Airbnb apartments in Paris. الغرض من هذه الدراسة هو استكشاف العلاقة بين التطبيقات الخوارزمية واقتصاد المشاركة. لاستكشاف هذه العلاقة، قمنا بتطبيق خوارزمية انحدار خطي باستخدام Python لتحديد سعر إدراج Airbnb. تظهر نتائج الدراسة أن أسعار شقق Airbnb في باريس تعتمد بشكل كبير على المعدات المتاحة والموقع. في الواقع، ترتبط معظم المتغيرات التي أدت إلى ارتفاع الأسعار بالمعدات والموقع. يمكننا تطبيق خوارزميات أخرى، مثل "غابة عشوائية"، وشجرة القرار، وما إلى ذلك لمعرفة ما إذا كانت هذه الخصائص (وسائل الراحة / الموقع) هي العوامل الرئيسية للتنبؤ بأسعار شقق Airbnb في باريس.
