    Study of the performances of a PIN Mach- Zehnder modulator

    This memorandum discusses the importance of optical modulators, which have a major role in processing information and converting an electrical signal into a light signal. This study aims to improve the performance of the Mach-Zehnder modulator using the PN and PIN connections, by presenting the results of numerical simulation and analysis, where we compared these connections. And its effect on the Mach-Zehnder modulator, as we saw that both the effective index and the optical loss can be modified by completely changing the voltage applied to the link.تناقش هذه المذكرة أهمية المغي ا رت البصرية التي لها دور كبير في معالجه المعلومات وتحويل الشارة الكهربائية إلى إشارة ضوئية، حيث تهدف هذه الد ا رسة إلى تحسين أداء المغير ماخ زيندر بواسطة وذلك من الل تقديم نتائج المحاكاة العددية وتحليلها، حيث قمنا بالمقارنة بين PIN و PN الوالت هذه الوالت وأثرها على المغير ماخ زيندر حيث أ رينا انه يمكن تعديل كل من المؤشر الفعال والخسارة للبصرية عن طريق تغيير الجهد المطبق بشكل كامل على الوالة
