    Le présent article aborde un bestiaire particulier chez Djamel Mati. Nous allons voir dans On dirait le Sud, les élucubrations d’un esprit tourmenté comment s’organise un univers complexe où les hommes en interaction avec les animaux tirent un enseignement sur la vie et sur l’espace. Par le prisme de l’imaginaire animalier et la sémiotique discursive seront abordés tout d’abord la manière par laquelle l’animal imprime sur l’homme ses propres qualités et symboliques, ensuite les frontières qui séparent les deux natures où se lit l’éventualité de voir l’homme virer vers l’animal. We will see in on dirait le Sud, les élucubrations d’un esprit tourmenté how a complex universe is organized where humans interacting with animals learn about life and space. Through the prism of the animal imagination and discursive semiotics, we will first approach the way in which the animal imprints on man its own qualities and symbolism, then the borders which separate the two natureswhere reads the possibility of seeing the man turns into an animal.
