Item Application Of Judd-ofelt Theory Upon Chlofluorophosphate Glass Doped With Erbium(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2012-01-01) Babai, A.; Aiadi, K. E.; Bentouila, O.; Rehoma, F.; Poulain, M.A series of erbium doped glasses chlorofluorophosphates were prepared and characterized. The absorption spectra were analyzed to determine the Judd-Ofelt parameters. The optical performance of these doped glasses suggesting the relevance of these glasses for optical fiber/ wave guide lasers and optical amplifiers.Item Density functional study Structures, Stabilities and Energetic properties of Gen (n= 2-30) clusters(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2018-02-05) Benaida, M.; Aiadi, K.E.; Mahtout, S.; Bentouila, O.; Djaadi, S.The lowest energy structures of Gen (n=2–30) clusters are obtained using the first principles pseudopotential simulated annealing within the generalized gradient approximation (GGA) of density functional implemented in SIESTA method. New low-energy structures are obtained for each cluster size. The optimized clusters reveal that the most stable structures and their corresponding isomers have three dimensional configurations. The relative stabilities in terms of the binding energies, fragmentation energies and second-order difference of energies for all Gen (n=2–30) structures have also been investigated and discussed.Item ELECTRONIC AND OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF ZnO: FIRST PRINCIPLE INVESTIGATIONS(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2018-02-05) Benkrima, Y.; Bentouila, O.; Achouri, A.; Ouahab, A.Dielectric function and optical properties of oxide zinc (ZnO) nanostructure are studied by the first-principle computational within the framework of the density functional theory (DFT) using SIESTA code. The calculated lattice parameters and internal coordinates are in very good agreement with the experimental findings. Band structure, PDOS, real and imaginary parts of dielectric function, reflectance and absorbance has been calculated. A comparison with the previous studies has been made.
