    التطور السكاني في مدينة الجزائر خلال العهد العثماني من خلال المصادر الأجنبية

    الملخص: يجب عرفت مدينة الجزائر خلال التواجد العثماني تطورا سكانيا ملحوظا مقارنة بالفترات السابقة، ويعود ذلك لعدة أسباب أهمها التطور الإقتصادي والإستقرار السياسي للمنطقة بعد انضمامها للدولة العثمانية، ومن هنا عملنا من خلال هذه الدراسة على تسليط الضوء على الإحصائيات التي قدمها الأجانب في كتاباتهم من أسرى وجواسيس وقناصل ورحالة حول عدد سكان المدينة، وقمنا بتتبع التطورات التي عرفتها المدينة وأرفقنا هذه الدراسة بتحليل المعلومات التي وردت في المصادر الأجنبية التي تبقى نسبية وتقديرية فقط وتحتاج مزيد من التدقيق والتمحيص، وللموضوع أهمية كبيرة حيث تمكنا من الوصول على العديد من الإحصائيات المنتظمة عبر السنوات والقرون. During the Ottoman presence, the city of Algiers must have witnessed a remarkable population development compared to previous periods. This is due to several reasons, the most important of which is the economic development and political stability of the region after its accession to the Ottoman Empire. Hence, we worked through this study to shed light on the statistics provided by foreigners in their writings, including prisoners, spies, and consuls. And travelers about the city's population, and we tracked the developments that the city witnessed and accompanied this study with an analysis of the information contained in foreign sources, which remains relative and estimated only and requires further scrutiny and scrutiny, and the topic is of great importance as we were able to obtain many regular statistics over the years and centuries.
