The study of Islamic architecture in our time was associated with the Islamic archeology, which was created by orientalists and Western archeologists. Hence, this science was influenced by their methods and their way of thinking. This was reflected in the way of dealing with the remaining Islamic buildings. The study aims at studying some of the Islamic monuments in the eastern Zab, a historical archaeological study. Models in this study focused on the Sidi Al-Mubarak Mosque and the house of the Bin Hussein family, known as Saraya in the Municipality of Khanaqah Sidi Naji. The sites dedicated to the above study are of archaeological significance , As it is really valuable archaeological evidence, because of resistance to the harsh natural conditions prevailing in the region, which is characterized by its desert climate, as well as the historical situation and political changes experienced by the region over the historical periods. It has also contributed to the region in terms of scientific, cultural, religious, and even social and has gone beyond to the areas adjacent to the homeland, and the nature of the architectural and decorative of these sites, still maintain its form despite the long time of establishment
