This paper presents the funcion analysis, which is one of the tools used in value engineering. During this phase, the team provides a comprehensive picture of the expected functions of the product to meet the needs of customers . The functionality of a product can be considered as the fundamental justification for a product existence, Therefore a functional analysis including a complete and reliable descriptor has a high potential to improve product .
