تتناول هذه الدراسة قضية مستجدة من القضايا المعاصرة، والتي تتعلق بالتعسف في العدول عن الخطبة، خاصة مع تطور الحياة الاجتماعية وتأثرها بالحضارة الغربية، وفساد الأخلاق وغياب الوازع الديني، وكثرة الخدع والمراوغة في المعاملات بين الناس مما ينتج عن ذلك الإضرار بالخاطب أو المخطوبة عند العدول، ومن هنا جاءت هذه الدراسة لمناقشة التعسف في العدول عن الخطبة، وبيان الآثار والأضرار المترتبة عن هذا التعسف. This study takles the emerging issue of absue in engagement break down.this issue is discussed considering the recent development of social life the impact of the western culture in this regard and the spread corruption of ethics and religions dettrence. This resulted in the spread of deception and evasion in transactions between people wich causes damage to the engaged partners thus the idea of this study is to discuss the issue of abuse in engagement break down and to clarify the effects damages and implication resulting from this practice
