    تعالج هذه الدراسة موضوع النشاط والدور الذي قام به مرتحلي المغرب الأوسط من علماء وقضاة وفقهاء وطلبة علم في بلاد المشرق خلال فترة هامة من التاريخ الوسيط، إذ عرفت بلاد المشرق رحلات العديد ممن كان لهم أثر كبير في الحياة الثقافية بالأخص خاصة في مجال التعليم والمشيخة والقضاء، لذا حاولنا في هذه الورقة البحثية تسليط الضوء على رحلة عالم من علماء المغرب الأوسط وهو جمال الدين الزواوي وما كان له من نشاط وأثر في التعليم وفي القضاء في كل من مصر ودمشق. This study deals with the activity and role played by Middle Maghreb scientists, judges, scholars and students of science in the Mashreq during an important period of medieval history. The Meshreq country has known the travels of many who have had a significant impact on cultural life, particularly in the field of education, Presbyterianism and the judiciary So in this paper, we tried to highlight the journey of a Middle Moroccan scientist, Jamal Al - Din Al - Zawawi, who was active in education and justice in Egypt and Damascus.
