| dc.description.abstract | يقدم المقال دراسة حول تأثيرات صدور قانون الخدمة الوطنية بدولة الإمارات الذي جعل الخدمة العسكرية إلزامية لتشمل أبناء الدولة في الفئة العمرية (18-30 سنة)، حيث يسلط الضوء على التفاعلات الاجتماعية والثقافية الناتجة عن هذا التشريع. وتخلص ورقة العمل إلى اعتبار هذا المتغيّر الجديد ذو أولوية هامة تؤثر في ومع بقية مكونات البيئة الاجتماعية والثقافية، وينوه إلى أهمية إدارته وفق منظور ممنهج وتخطيط استراتيجي كوسيلة لإنجاح هذا المشروع الوطني وتحقيق الأهداف المنشودة بفاعلية وكفاءة. كما ويقدم المقال عددا من التوصيات التي من شأنها أن تدعم وتساهم في تطبيق القانون وفي رسم الملامح العامة للإطار التنفيذي العام له. Abstract : This article examines the impact of the new National Service Law in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) which has made military service obligatory for all Emiratis aged between 18 and 30, and attempts to explore the social and cultural impacts expected as result of this legislation. In general, the paper sees the Law as an important new variant to national socio-ecological and cultural system. As such, it envisages the need to tackle this national initiative in a methodological and strategically planned approach to ensure successful execution and attainment of the law objectives in an efficient and effective manner. The article also presents a number of recommendations that are expected to support and contribute towards the enactment of the new legislation and in the design of the overall implementation framework.
