Abstract

The aim of the current study was the effect of probiotics on the progression of chronic kidney disease. We wanted to clarify the therapeutic benefits of probiotics. For this reason, strains of lactic acid bacteria were isolated from the intestines of camels, and based on the microbiological tests that were conducted, we selected only bacteria that possess probiotic properties. After many studies, two types of. lactic strains have been identified and they are Pediococcusacidilactici and Lactobacillus acidophilus. 20 female white Wister rats were used Equally divided into a control group and 3 treatment groups, during the first month, treated with hemi-penta-hydrate cadmium chloride analyte (5 mg /kg/day) and then treated with a dose of 0.5 ml of selected lactic acid probiotic bacteria, diluted with an amount of physiological acid water (5 ml) for a week, after examining the results of kidney analyzes and a complete blood count, it was noted that there was a significant increase in most values and abnormal tissue sections of the kidneys in the group that received hemi-penta-hydrate cadmium chloride only, with normal results recorded in the control group and in the control group. Both groups were treated with probiotics, with no undesirable results. Finally, we can see the great therapeutic benefit of probiotics.
