In this work initial boundary value problems are presented. The homotopy perturbation method (HPM) is used for solving some problems of heat-like equations with non local boundary conditions. The obtained results are highly accurate. This method provides continuous solutions in contrast to other numerical methods, like finite difference, finite elements, spectral methods, ect. It is found that this method it is a powerful tool and can be applied to a large class of linear and non linear problems in different fields of science and engineering.en_US
