New data on Psammodromus blanci (Lataste, 1880) a near threatened species of Lacertidae (Reptilia: Squamata)
(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2019-06-16) EL BOUHISSI, Mayssara; DAHMANI, Walid; SADINE, Salah eddine
The Blanc's sand racer Psammodromus blanci (Lataste, 1880) is a small species of Lacertidae (Squamata). This species occurs the North West of Algeria and it is noted as very rare in Morocco and Tunisia. According to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) assessment of 2009, this species is listed as near threatened. The objective of our work is to update the information about this species basing on recent investigations between May and June 2019 in Sidi Bel-Abbes (North West of Algeria). Some remarks on the activity and ecology of this species are also noted with describing of a new locality in Aflou (Laghouat) North West of Algeria.

Extraction and characterization of the antioxidant activity of essential oils from cotula cinerea in the region of el oued (algeria)
(جامعة الوادي - University of Eloued, 2019-06-16) MAHBOUB, Nasma; SLIMANI, Noureddine; HENNI, Meriem
This work is part of the valorization of spontaneous medicinal plants, a large part of which is still virgin and requires in-depth studies, and then our objective will be an extraction of the essential oils of the aerial part and the flowers of Cotula cineria, identifying physical parameters, pH measurement, density measurement, and refractive index. In parallel, biological activity (Antioxidant) is studied. Regarding the physical properties, we find the essential oils of the flowers and the aerial part have basic characters with the values of pH 8,39 and 8,60, the density is 0.95 and 0.90 and the index of refraction is 1,33350 and 1,33375 respectively. Both antioxidant activities show that both essential oils have IC50 45.98mg/ml and 79.28mg/ml for the flowers and the aerial part of Cotula cinerea respectively. A large ability to trap the DPPH radical is noted with the value of IC50 0.04% for ascorbic acid.

Biofungicide Activity of Datura stramonium Leaf Extract Against Phytopathogenic Fungi
(University of Eloued جامعة الوادي, 2019-06-16) DJAHRA, Ali Boutlelis; BENKADDOUR, Mounia; ZEGHIB, Khaoula; BENKHERARA, Salah; SHAIEB, Inas; GHANIA, Ahmed; BDIDA, Soumaia
The aim of this study is determination of polyphenol contents and biofungicide activity of crude extract of Datura stramonium. The results of extraction showed an important yield percentage of crud extract equal 25.22 % wherase, the polyphenol content of the extract was 657,0 (mg AGE/ml Ext). The In vitro biofungicide activity carried out by disk diffusion method, the biofungicide effect results performed with crude extract and Milraz WP 76 fungicide (Propineb 70%, Cymoxanil 6%) against fungal strains. The results appear that natural substances possess an antifungal power on the multiresistant germs responsible for infectious diseases for plants. Growth inhibition varies depending on the fungal strains and the concentration of the test product
