Abstract
في ظل التحولات العميقة التي يشهدها الوطن العربي والتحديات الكبيرة التي تواجه الدول العربية، تبرز الحاجة للاستعانة بعلم اجتماع عربي لتشخيص وفهم الواقع الاجتماعي وكشف حقيقته، ومن ثم توجيه اهتمام القائمين على التخطيط التنموي لوضع البرامج والخطط المناسبة لتنمية وتطوير المجتمعات العربية، إلا أن مؤشرات الواقع تشير إلى عجز البحث السوسيولوجي عن تقديم تفسير للعديد من الظواهر المستجدة في المجتمع العربي، وفهم الظروف الجديدة التي أوجدها التقدم العلمي والتقني وتشخيص التحديات الناشئة عنه. انطلاقا من ذلك، تهدف هذه الورقة البحثية، إلى تشخيص الوضعية المتردية لعلم الاجتماع في الوطن العربي، وكذا تقديم رؤية مقترحة للنهوض بالبحث السوسيولوجي والوصول به إلى المستوى المنشود In light of the profound changes taking place in the Arab world and the challenges
facing the Arab countries, it is necessary to use an Arab sociology for diagnosis
and understanding of social reality and Unveil its truth, and then draw attention of
those responsible for development planning for the development of appropriate
programs and plans for the development of Arab societies. But concrete indicators
show a failure of sociological research to provide an explanation of many
phenomena emerging in Arab society and understanding the new conditions
created by the scientific and technical progress and the diagnosis of the challenges
arising from it. On this basis, this paper aims to diagnose the poor state of
sociology in the Arab world, as well as the presentation of a proposed vision for
the advancement of sociological research and bring it to the desired level
