The yield of essential oil was 0.15%, the oil was analyzed by GC-MS. Fourty-one compounds were detected and 38 of them were identified, representing (99.94%) of the total oil. Tetracosane (31.11%), Germacrene D ﴾1..4%﴿, Δ- Cadinene (6.51%), α- Cadinol (6.26%) and t-Cadinol (5.81%) were identified as the main constituents. The antioxidant activity was determined using DPPH scavenging, the oil exhibited weak inhibition activity comparing with Vitamin C, where we showed the value of IC50= 2.37 ± 0.46mg/mL and 0.064 ± 0.01mg/mL, respectively.Arالعائلة الشفويةLamiaceae, Marrubium deserti, Essential oil, Antioxidants, GC/MS, DPPH.النامية في ولاية الوادي Marrubium deserti De Noe.التركيب الكيميائي والمساهمة في دراسة النشاطية المضادة للأكسدة للزيت الأساسي لنبات خياطة الصحراءMaster
